The Pageland Police Department investigates motor vehicle collisions that occur within the town limits of Pageland.
β οΈ IMPORTANT NOTICE:
If a collision is not reported to law enforcement at the time it occurs, officers will not complete a collision report.
π In such cases, it becomes the driverβs or vehicle ownerβs responsibility to complete and submit an FR-309 form.
π What is the FR-309 Form?
The FR-309 is a South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles (SCDMV) form used to report uninvestigated collisions for documentation and insurance purposes.
π Required By Law β South Carolina Code Β§56-5-1270:
β‘οΈ If you're involved in a collision not investigated by law enforcement that results in:
β’ π° $1,000+ in property damage
β’ π€ Bodily injury
β’ β°οΈ Death
You must complete and submit the FR-309 form within 15 days of the incident.
