🚔 Pageland Police Department (PPD) — Motor Vehicle Collision Reporting 🚗💥

The Pageland Police Department investigates motor vehicle collisions that occur within the town limits of Pageland.

⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTICE:
If a collision is not reported to law enforcement at the time it occurs, officers will not complete a collision report.

📄 In such cases, it becomes the driver’s or vehicle owner’s responsibility to complete and submit an FR-309 form.

📘 What is the FR-309 Form?
The FR-309 is a South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles (SCDMV) form used to report uninvestigated collisions for documentation and insurance purposes.

📝 Required By Law – South Carolina Code §56-5-1270:
➡️ If you're involved in a collision not investigated by law enforcement that results in:
• 💰 $1,000+ in property damage
• 🤕 Bodily injury
• ⚰️ Death
You must complete and submit the FR-309 form within 15 days of the incident.
